MAKER OF EXPENSIVE PRINTER INK HP's Pre 3 will tip up tomorrow in the UK.

The handset has gone on sale on the Clove.co.uk website early at £300 including VAT. The online retailer had previously said the Pre 3 would go on sale at the end of August.

Yesterday, we reported that the Pre 3 smartphone will be coming to the UK soon on Orange, but probably earlier from online retailers.

On Expansys.com, availability is still listed for 23 August and it has a price tag of £394. Play.com still has a release date of 9 September and the phone can be pre-ordered for £349, the least expensive of the three.

The Clove blog said, "This one has been a while coming, but we can now confirm that we will have the HP 3 smartphone in stock as of tomorrow. There will not be a price increase as had been previously reported, so you can pick one up for £300 (£360 inc. VAT).

"We've been looking forward to getting our hands on the new webOS handset for a while and are expecting big things from HP's new smartphone. In particular we're keen to see the Pre 3's 'Touch To Share' technology in action with the TouchPad," the blog added.

HP's product page for the Pre 3 reveals that the phone will have a Qualcomm 1.4 GHz processor, but Orange says the phone will have a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. We'll have to wait and see which is correct.

We do know that the Pre 3 will have a 3.58in touchscreen, 512MB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, a 5MP camera and a slide-out Qwerty keyboard. µ
