Twitter launches a tabs feature

Makes things easier
Thu Aug 11 2011, 13:57

MICRO CONVERSATION WEB SITE Twitter has launched two tabs that will allow users to see more easily when someone favourites or retweets one of their tweets.

According to Twitter's blog, users will need to click on the tab with their @username to see which of their tweets is favourited, plus the latest retweets, tweets directed at them and new followers.

The web site's other additional feature is the Activity tab, which puts Favorites, Retweets, and Follows all in one place.

The blog said, "Today, we're rolling out two new features on Twitter.com that help you discover more on Twitter. You can now see when someone favorites or retweets one of your Tweets. You can also learn which Tweets are most interesting and inspiring to the people you follow."

Earlier this week, The INQUIRER reported that Twitter has added a photo uploading service. Reports about the feature began appearing earlier this week but now it appears to be more widely available.

Previously if you wanted to share a photograph on Twitter you had to use a third party service, like Yfrog for example. µ
