I still need the reassurance of a familiar brand before it's a real story - Tony Maddox, CNN senior VP
THE INQUIRER'S LEAST FAVOURITE SOLICITOR Andrew Crossley has defended the actions of his law firm ACS:Law and its tendency to send out demanding letters.
Crossley and his company famously sent letters to a large number of UK citizens, seemingly at random, and accused them of stealing copyright protected material.
This did not go down anywhere. Not in the living rooms of Britain, not on the internet, not on these pages, and not in the courts.
These days Crossley does not read the papers because he is sick of reading what is written about him. Oh, except it seems that he does read our sister site V3.co.uk because he contacted it and offered his version of events.
Pull up a chair, make yourself comfortable and enjoy his words over there. µ

He's bankrupted alright, just not financially.
No regrets eh? So as we all suspected, his claims to be bankrupt is just a ruse to avoid having to pay the court fines...
If he was really bankrupt, he would certainly regret things.
