CHINESE YOUTH WORKER SUPPORTING Apple has been made to pay reparations for collecting location data without the consent of one Korean.

According to Reuters, Apple's Korean unit had to pay compensation of £586, or one million won in local currency.

The money was paid to Kim Hyung-suk, who handily is a lawyer, following a court order. The payment was made last month, added Reuters, but apparently the two officials at Changwon District Court who revealed this then refused to comment further.

This is not the last we are expected to hear from Hyung-Suk though, and Reuters said that his law firm, Mirae Law, was readying a class action lawsuit against Apple.

Reuters reported that the Sueapple web site set up to support this lawsuit was unavailable due to heavy traffic, but it is available now. µ
