INTERNET SEARCH FIRM Google is not intimidated by competition, according to its executive chairman Eric Schmidt.
In the last month Google released Google+, its enthusiastically received social networking service, and has seen Facebook, the dominant force in social networking, accuse it of spreading itself too thin. Google rejects this and argues that there is room in the market for both firms and their applications.
According to Reuters, Schmidt, who was speaking at the Allen & Co. media conference in Sun Valley, Idaho, shrugged his shoulders, cracked his neck and said that his company would "love to have deeper integration with Twitter and Facebook", and that his door stayed open for them.
The Google chairman is also looking forward to working with regulators as they pick through Google's business and make sure that it doesn't have a department called "Subterfuge & Shenanigans", according to the report.
Schmidt, who has advised young people to change their names as they reach working age in order to rid themselves of their embarrassing social networking history, is looking forward to a world of multiple social networks. No doubt that was a reassuring point for Google's advertisers to hear.
Even China, where Google enjoys a fractious relationship with the authorities, was given a light dig by Schmidt. Commenting on the recent hack on its Gmail systems, Schmidt said, "We tell the Chinese what we know... and then they publicly deny their role. That's all I have to say about that." µ

Now peter, what did they tell you about skipping your medication?
It's for your own good to take your prescribed dose so you don't bother innocent internet users or harm yourself.
OMG, did Eric Schmidt so quickly cleared his name in this innocent Stanford girl May Zhou's http://www.mayzhou.com case? Isn't it a fact that he had threatened my life with this plotted murdering of May Zhou? Isn't Schmidt part of that plotted crime? How about his other crimes including threatening my life in a mafia way?
Eric Schmidt may historically have better looking as a business man and a politician, but as a human being with great power who supposedly should meet the basic moral standard in human society, Eric Schmidt is quite a failure. Eric Schmidt is after all an outdated figure.
Here are some interesting discussions about Eric's crime in the murder case:
