FINNISH PHONE MAKER Nokia's X7 smartphone is now available from Three and runs the latest version of Symbian.
Nokia's latest Symbian handset is the X7, a phone aimed at the entertainment enthusiast. The other Nokia handset to come pre-loaded with Symbian Anna is its E6.
Mark Hindle, commucations manager at Nokia told The INQUIRER, "The Nokia E6 and X7 won't be the last, we have promised great new Symbian devices with Ghz processing and further updates to Symbian that will further enhance the user experience."
The X7 comes runs the newest version of Symbian, called Anna. The operating system brings updates such as new icons, faster web browsing, enhanced maps and improved text input.
Nokia's X7 comes with a large 4in AMOLED screen with 360x640 resolution and an 8MP camera. Internal memory is 350MB and Three will kindly include a 16GB SD card instead of the normal 8GB.
You can get the phone on a contract from £30 per month on a two year deal with Three. If you don't want to be tied to a contract then it offers the Nokia X7 for £379 on pay as you go. SIM free prices are around £420 from Expansys.com and Amazon.co.uk.
If you already own a Nokia and are keen to get Symbian Anna then handsets like the N8 and E7 will be getting the update next month. µ
