JAPANESE ELECTRONICS OUTFIT Toshiba has announced the Qosmio F750 3D, the world's first laptop capable of displaying 3D content without the need for glasses.
We've seen glasses free devices come to the UK with the Nintendo 3DS and more recently the LG Optimus 3D. Now it's Toshiba's turn with the first laptop to offer the same thing.

Toshiba said, "The Qosmio F750 3D uses a special lenticular 3D screen to give users the freedom to experience all the benefits of 3D entertainment, without the restrictions of having to wear 3D glasses."
What the Toshiba Qosmio F750 adds into the mix is head and eye tracking using the webcam so it can adjust the image on the screen based on where you are viewing from.
This means that you don't need to sit in an exact spot in front of the laptop to see the 3D image properly. However, it does mean that it's limited to one user.
Like other 3D capable laptops, the Qosmio F750 can convert 2D content into 3D on-the-fly so you needn't throw away your DVD collection to go out and buy 3D versions. Toshiba said it can display 2D and 3D content simultaneously, though this wasn't working on the model we saw.
The Qosmio F750 will have tasty specifications, most importantly an Intel Sandy Bridge Core i7 CPU and a 2GB Nvidia Geforce GT 540M GPU. It will also come with 6GB of RAM and a 640GB hard drive.
It will have a range of ports including USB 2.0 and 3.0, Ethernet, headphone, microphone and HDMI.
The screen will be 15.6in and support full HD resolution. There will also be Harman Kardon stereo speakers and a Blu-ray player. Toshiba was unable to give us a figure for battery life but said that the laptop will weigh 2.9kg.
Toshiba told The INQUIRER that the Qosmio F750 laptop will arrive next month and cost around £1,300. µ
