WANNABE FACEBOOK OWNER Paul Ceglia must hand over the emails that he says prove his right to half of the social networking web site.
According to a report at the LA Times Ceglia must hand over the emails that prove that he owns as much of Facebook as he claims to, and he claims to own a large chunk.
Facebook won access to the emails and another key document in the case following a three hour court hearing.
Paul Ceglia, the New York state man who claims he's entitled to half of Mark Zuckerberg's multibillion-dollar stake in Facebook, will have to turn over a key document and the emails to Facebook, a federal judge ruled Thursday during a hearing.
The key document is what Ceglia says is a partnership agreement that he claims he and Zuckerberg signed in 2003. In addition Ceglia must hand over his records of the emails he exchanged with the Facebook founder.
Facebook has consistently stuck to its story that the emails are faked, and as well as receiving the emails and partnership agreement it will also be allowed to carry out forensic examination of Ceglia's computers. µ

It is indeed amazing that such old e-mails survived, I had more than one computer go obsolete and HD fail over that period, and in fact several companies that I had e-mail accounts with either went the way of the dodo or stopped their e-mail service.
But maybe there are print-outs, some people print out all their e-mail I hear.
awhen a woman thinks that her family's 8 years old PC is adequate, they build a small branch of PC World in her lounge and force her to look at new models until she buys a replacement?
Just that that's how old the PC and e-mails in this case apparently are.
