CLOUD GAMING SERVICE Onlive Viewer has come to the HTC FLyer tablet to allow users to watch online gaming.
Via a firmware update, the Onlive Viewer allows users to watch gaming on the Onlive gaming service. It is available for free but of course only allows watching gaming, not playing.
Wobblin30 posted on the xdadevelopers forum, "I just checked my Flyer for an update and OnLive Viewer just popped up. After a quick download, I created an account and poked around a bit. I was unable to play any free trials but I would assume functionality is just around the corner. This tablet is getting better and better everyday."
The application can't be downloaded from the Android Market so you'll have to check for updates to get it.
If you haven't got a Flyer then don't worry as the Android Package file (apk) is available on the xda forum, so you can install the Onlive Viewer on any Android device.
Onlive Viewer has been an app for the Ipad since last year, so this is the first time it has come to any Android devices.
In the future Onlive plans to bring full gaming to tablets and the application will even work with Onlive's native controller. We seriously like the sound of this possibility, which will surely make tablets much more attractive devices by giving them an additional function. µ

I find it incredibly hard to believe they'll find enough people stupid enough to get into this OnLive ripoff at all. Roll on it's timely death and other such "services" for that matter...
