Ex-prime minister has his personal details leaked
Mon Jun 27 2011, 10:00

WALK ON ACTOR in the Simpsons and UK ex-PM Tony Blair has been the victim of an apparent hacking attack and seen his personal details become the source of much internet discussion.

Various reports say that Tony Blair, properly known now as the Right Honorable Anthony Charles Lynton Blair, has had his national insurance number leaked along with a dossier of details relating to his colleagues, chums and family. Of course, given his previous role, information about that was perhaps the most juicy part of the releases.

The release, which first appeared on Pastebin and was apparently released by a hacker group calling itself Team Poison, is very detailed. Personal information, which is available for a number of users, even extends to home phone numbers. At the time of going to press the information is still available.

Team Poison introduced the leak on its Twitter feed, explaining, "Tony Blair's Private Info is getting leaked tonight, so is his Personal Adivsors CV and UK MPs & Lords who supported the war in iraq," and "doing the writeup now - Tony Blair and his cockroaches are getting owned tonight. - War IS Terror. -"

The group added later that despite suggestions that it had not been as successful as it claimed this was not the case. At the same time it hinted at how it had performed the attack, accessing - it seems, the ex-prime minister's servers.

"Blairs sheep are lying about how we got the info, we got into the webmail server via a private exploit & we wiped the logs so Good luck," it said in a later tweet. µ
