THE ANGRIEST BIRD OF ALL, Peter Vesterbacker took some time out of his day at London's Open Mobile Summit to talk to us about Angry Birds and the success Rovio has had with the franchise.

Vesterbacker was a fascinating speaker, too. His business has clear and simple objectives. All it wants to do is protect its brand and keep the fans happy. He says that things falling outside that just get ignored. He's also quite proud that Angry Birds is the third most ripped-off product in China. He's quite keen to be number one there sometime very soon.

Vesterbacker also promised that the Windows Phone version of the game will arrive by the end of this month. He confirmed that, like the Iphone version, the Windows Phone game will be a paid-for application. µ
