Rovio’s Angry Birds adds Gear 4 speakers to its nest

THE MOBILE PHONE PHENOMENON Angry Birds is appearing on a handset near you, as well as a PC, a tee shirt, a pair of flip flops, on the telly, and soon, as speaker  peripherals.

Gear 4 is the firm that has the honour of turning out the app-based porcine punishing,  bomb-happy birds, and this September it will start selling two speakers and an Ipod dock.

Red bird, Black bird and one of the pigs will present their heads for audio insertion and according to the firm the speakers will work with Ipods, Iphones, Ipads and any other devices that take a 3.5mm audio cable.

There are three in the nest and Gear 4 said that they range in price from £49 to £69. We don't know which model costs what but according to the press blurb the black bird model charges an Ipad while you can shove an Iphone into the pig's head.
