DETAILS ABOUT Motorola's Milestone 3 smartphone have been leaked on Youtube in three videos.
The trio of tutorial style clips for the as yet unannounced Milestone 3, which is called the Droid 3 in the US, showed the basics of handling the phone, like arranging contacts, using the keyboard and even how to turn the phone on and off. There are a few hardware specifications including an 8MP rear facing camera, which is an upgrade from the Droid 2's 5MP camera.
There doesn't seem to be a dedicated camera button but apparently it shoots HD 1080p video. There is a microUSB port and an HDMI port for connectivity and the phone features a slide-out Qwerty keyboard that has a separate row for numbers.
That's about it for hardware, apart from the helpful information that the power button is located on the top of the device.
Software wise it's clear from the video that the phone is running Motoblur, Motorola's user interface for Android. There is a note at the bottom saying, "Software shown not final", so Motorola is probably still putting the final touches on that before launch.
The Milestone 2 has a 3.7in screen but going by the handset shown in the videos the Milestone 3 looks like it will have a larger screen. As a guess we would say it is a 4in display. There are the same four touchscreen buttons - home, back, search and apps.
The last thing we can spot is that the Milestone 3 has two separate volume buttons unlike its predecessor's single rocker button. You can view the best of the three videos below. µ

Sadly, the video has been removed by YouTube....
Wake me up when Moto finally get the memo about Open Source, and who actually owns the device they paid for, and stop locking down the bootloader on their devices.
I wonder what Stephen Elop and the boys over at Nokia think of it, since he rejected Android. I am sure that Nokia's new product with Windows Phone 7 software will be just as good. lol ... : )
