The INQUIRER wants to give you a £500 smartphone

Okay, maybe not all of you
Fri Jun 03 2011, 17:18

WHAT BETTER WAY to spend a sunny Friday afternoon than taking part in a very brief INQUIRER survey and getting in on the chance of winning a smartphone of your choice*?

Here at The INQUIRER we're thinking of making a few changes to the web site and adding some new features, and we'd love to hear your views. Please tell us what you like - and don't like - about our current web site and coverage, and if there are any new areas or technologies that we should start covering or any ways that we can better serve you.

To say thank you for filling out our very quick survey of only five questions, we'll enter you into our draw to win a SIM-free smartphone up to the value of £500. Then you can get back to the sun and a well-earned weekend beer. µ

*SIM-free smartphone up to the value of £500, mobile operator contract not included.

WHO WANTS IT?

IF IT DOESNT HAVE RADAR DETECTOR OR BACKUP CAMERA OR TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR, THEN WHAT GOOD IS IT?
I BET IT DOESNT EVEN HAVE A DEPTH FINDER APP FOR THE BOAT, DOES IT.

Thanks but i like my dumb phone

All it can do is what I want it to do make phone calls. I guess there are other things it can do but I have never looked. Funny I have never needed GPS either. I have use it for 5 years and only cost $49.00. I am hoping to get another 5 years out of it.

Well, what if?

What if we don't want/need another smart phone? is there a quid/cash option?

Even if it's 1/2 the £500, I could still use that for say a nice computer upgrade or better yet, some breath mints.

A whole lotta breath mints.

@ Inq Staff

Steve is correct! For Christ's Sake and mine, and every other person who is sight-impaired, PLEASE sort out the bloody comments order.

Apart from the arse-ache of having to scroll all the way down the page and then read back up; you have people who use text to speech readers (TTS plug-ins) that won't work on this site unless you are mentally trained to remember everything in reverse order!

Just in case anybody is confused: Oldest First and the Newest ones at the bottom.....

I don't own any fruit-themed toys, so I know I'll be looked upon favorably?

Lots of Love,

Dave xxx

@me

Well it would be nice to have a UK only for a change, we spend half our lives over here reading about things we can't enter, and devices we can't buy... And then when they do arrive and we can buy them, we see the bargain $99 has turned into a not so bargain £99.

Are you sure you want our views?

After the last redesign you put up a poll about what we thought. IIRC a majority weren't impressed by the new layout, but it's still here!

One thing you could do though is sort out the order of the comments, oldest first, not newest!!!!
