DURING AN Intel press conference on tablets and netbooks on Wednesday, Acer associate VP David Lee showed off the Taiwanese hardware firm's Iconia Tab M500 tablet.

With a 10in screen, the device is similar in appearance to Acer's A500 that runs Google's Android Honeycomb, however this machine runs Meego to offer what Lee described as a "snacking" experience for users. µ

Atom limited to 2gb by intel

Most Atom processors are limited to 2gb ram. One or two forthcoming may support 4gb. With 8gb single sodimm now available intel is back to its cpu crippling policy for celerons and atoms. Better go AMD or even VIA and see all the memory in your handheld.
