An Ipad thief roams the UK Parliament

Tablets, phones, bikes and chairs are stolen from the House of Commons

SOMEWHERE IN PARLIAMENT is someone not to be trusted.

Sorry, lets narrow that down. We're not referring to the MPs themselves, necessarily. Somewhere in Parliament is a gadget, chair and candlestick thief who is making off with MPs' possessions.

MPs including Keith Vaz have reported missing items, and in the latest case Mr Vaz said that he was down one Ipad and a laptop. This is interesting as it might prove that, in the House of Commons at least, the Ipad is a complimentary device.

Vaz, who had claimed £75,000 in expenses for a flat that was only twelve miles from his home, called for "a more robust approach" to security inside Parliament, according to the BBC, after having been victimised by criminal activity.

This is not a one off attack, and Vaz said that he was aware of another gadget theft, and also listed by the BBC are a number of other items that have left Parliament surreptitiously. These include a candlestick that cost £1,000 - take that, recession! - some chairs, some knives, a bicycle and an orchid.

A Freedom of Information request revaled that the Parliamentary estate is not only home to thieves, in a variety of forms, but so too has it been the scene of a number of other crimes.

According to the BBC these have included harassment, criminal damage, common assault and trespass. Sounds like a rough place to us. µ

How peculiar and coincidental

So they don't have 5000000 cameras up their ass then like the average non-privileged brit has in his surroundings?
