FEDERAL AUTHORITIES in the US have arrested a man for stealing from his employer, which in this case was Microsoft.

According to the Seattle PI, federal prosecutors have charged Robert D. Curry with stealing $515,000, which he took by making three wire transfers to his own bank account.

Curry was arrested on Tuesday morning, reports the newspaper, and is accused of taking the money during 2010. Prosecutors said that Curry billed and was paid for services and equipment that Microsoft did not receive, paid the money into his own bank account and used it to fund a lifestyle that involved skiing vacations and buying high end audio equipment.

In fact, Curry is accused of using unwitting third parties as well as a shell company of his own creation, called Blu Games, and another called Resolution Audio to trick Microsoft into paying for services that it never got.

Curry was fired by Microsoft and has been charged with three counts of wire fraud. µ

So he was able to create a nice little fraud setup

And all he could think of doing with it was blowing it on hi-fi equipment and skiing holidays ?
No wonder he got caught. What a moron.

Just one?

When are they going to catch up with the rest of them?

Committing fraud means you suck

but Resolution Audio is a damn good name for a company, in my opinion. Somebody needs to jump on that for their company.

Maybe Microsoft needs to change its name to Resolution Computing, it'd be better than the meaningless Microsoft name.
