TAIWANESE HARDWARE OUTFIT Acer has given The INQUIRER a video demo of its 7-inch Android tablet that wasn't on show at a briefing last month.
Unlike the Motorola Xoom tablet, Acer's Iconia Tab A100 wasn't running Android 3.0 Honeycomb at this week's Gadget Show Live but had Android 2.2. Acer says that the device will ship with Honeycomb, however.
The A100 tablet features Nvidia's Tegra 2 dual core processor and a Geforce GPU. Acer says that the device will be available in the coming weeks. The A100 will cost around £300. Acer also has a larger version called the Iconia Tab A500. µ
