Echostar HDS-600RS video demo

AT ITS LAUNCH last night in London, Echostar's digital video recorder that offers mobile TV anywhere was demonstrated to the assembled press, including The INQUIRER.

The video recorder is a Freesat+ service box that includes Sling technology to allow viewing of TV anywhere across a number of devices including smartphones and tablets over 3G or WiFi.

In the video above you'll see an introduction to the box itself and a look at the app for the Apple Ipad too. The Echostar digital video recorder has a 500GB hard drive and will be available on 1 April for £349.99, with the accompanying Ipad app priced at £19.99. µ
