JAPANESE COMPUTER GIANT Fujitsu has confirmed a shipping delay for its Stylistic Q550 tablet until 28 April to The INQUIRER.

A press release from Fujitsu on 24 February said, "Fujitsu today announced the global launch of the Stylistic Q550, a business-class slate PC designed for the high-security requirements of mobile enterprise computing, starting in early April 2011."

At the CeBIT trade show in Germany, a Fujitsu representative told The INQUIRER that the Q550 wasn't expected to ship until June, a delay of two months. The same representative at CeBIT was only able to demonstrate a prototype model of the tablet for The INQUIRER.

Now we can only wait to find out if Fujitsu can stick by the precise date of 28 April. µ
