TAIWANESE ELECTRONICS FIRM Micro-star International (MSI) demonstrated its Android tablet for The INQUIRER at CeBIT in Germany.

The Windpad 100A is MSI's Android offering to the tablet market. It is currently running Android Froyo but MSI informed The INQUIRER that it will ship with Honeycomb.

It has a 10.1-inch multi-touch display and supports HD 1080p video. It has a couple of interesting features such as the thumbpad control, which looks like it has been transplanted from a Blackberry handset, and a lock switch to stop the sensor from auto rotating the display between portrait and landscape.

Prices will start at an attractive €399 but availability is only vaguely estimated for the middle of the year. µ
