GAMING LEGEND Nintendo demoed its latest handheld console, the 3DS, for The INQUIRER today at the CeBIT trade show in Hannover, Germany.
Bizarrely Nintendo refused to allow anyone to do a talk through video demo of the console but it did allow us to film a representative playing a game on the console.
The game you will see in the video above is one of the built-in augmented reality games. Note that the 3D effect was turned off for the video. It uses the rear camera and a set of special cards so you can play games on whatever flat surface you're looking at, such as your desk.
You will see the flickering problems that we mentioned in our first impressions of the 3DS. Nintendo said that this was due to the white desk and the harsh lighting at the CeBIT stand.
A full review of the Nintendo 3DS games console will be coming soon here at The INQUIRER. µ
