The INQUIRER reveals Apple Ipad 2 specifications
PREMIUM PRICED GADGET MAKER Apple's magical Ipad 2 will have Facetime, a retina quality 10-inch display, mobile telly and Thunderbolt I/O, The INQUIRER can exclusively reveal.
The new tablet, which will be available in white and is expected to outsell everything else, will have a secret 1GHz Apple chip, 512MB of RAM, a detachable lithium polymer battery, a 10-inch 1600x1200 resolution retina quality display, 64GB of internal storage, an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front facing camera for Facetime, WiFi only - the 3G and 4G versions will come later - and it has a docking port feature. The Ipad 2 is also set to have a wider range of accessories.
Built by well-scrubbed youth in factories that Apple assures us have the highest worker health and safety standards in the glorious People's Republic of China, the Ipad 2 will be competitively priced at £650, excluding VAT.
Apple is deeply concerned about the anxieties its customers will feel when they have to queue up for the shining tablet that rules them all. So, while sold initially SIM free, all networks will be offering attractive deals with three-year binding monthly contracts of £75 a month with additional fees for the data allowance plans and multiple SIM cards needed.
If The INQUIRER had learned of this information and the specifications at a press conference we would have prefixed all of our questions with comments such as, "First let me congratulate you all at Apple on a fantastic year that has shown the consumer electronics world the new direction in computing." But we didn't, so we don't have to act in quite such a fawning manner as does much of the rest of the IT media.

...You left off that Ipayed 2 will also work as a hoverboard, eliminating the necessity for automobiles, pollution, solving the energy crisis, traffic/parking problems, global warming, and of course, will lead to world peace ("world peace" being defined as the world doing whatever Jobs or his replacement Messiah says).
I converted this article in mp3 format and played it backward. I was shocked because I heard it say "iPad 2 specs is a joke Happy April Fools day!".
i am much more impressed by apple's hologram skillz that enable them to fake steve job's appearance on that keynote conference rather than by apple's dull devices...

I'm a tablet fanboy and I must admit I've been an iPad fan since day 1.
Been using it for almost 1 year, enjoying some apps but above all web surfing.
Though I must admit we really need flash support on that, even more than multitasking. I have seen an online user has released some pictures of the new Apple creature on this forum http://www.tabletforum.com/threads/stolen-ipad-2-pictures.3/ and it seems
the tablet world is getting better. LOL
Although it does not take much guessing to get at least some of these correct, we can pretty much forget about the Retina display and the resolution as it would create an absolute nightmare for developers as well as drive up the price of the iPad 2 itself.
