BLIGHTY'S maker of memory, Kingston Technology has announced the release of HyperX T1 Black DDR3 triple-channel memory kits.

The new memory kits are built to fit into the new Intel Core i7 990X chipset and X58-based motherboards, and are available in kits of three or six modules and in capacities up to 24GB.

Mark Tekunoff, senior technology manager at Kingston said that the kits give enthusiasts the opportunity to combine performance and style into their PC build, although we can't see how the catwalks in Paris or Milan will ever want to model DDR3 designs.

He said that the kits are ideal for the X58 products on the market, especially the new Gigabyte G1-Killer gaming motherboards.

Kingston is shipping three HyperX T1 Black 1600MHz DDR3 triple channel kits in 24GB, 12GB and 6GB configurations.

If you are into memory porn you can see a 24GB configuration of the memory in action on a G1-Killer motherboard here.

It looks like the 24GB 1600MHz DDR3 Non-ECC CL9 DIMM (Kit of 6) XMP T1 Series CL9-9-9-27 will set you back £224. The 12GB kit will cost £112 and the 6GB kit will sell for £61, all prices excluding VAT. µ
