ANNOUNCED earlier this month at Mobile World Congress, Samsung's Galaxy S II will be available to purchase from play.com on 31 March, but that date could be beaten by Clove.co.uk.

Although Play.com has a date for the end of March at £599.99 including VAT with free delivery, Clove.co.uk is reporting that the handset will be available in mid to late March. Prices at Clove start at £612 including VAT with £7 postage.

Expansys.com won't be able to sell you one until 20 June with a price tag of £629.99 including VAT with free delivery.

The Galaxy S II is the slimmer, lighter and faster successor to the popular Galaxy S. It will be 8.49mm thick with a 4.27-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen, Android 2.3 Gingerbread pre-loaded, a 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and an 8MP camera capable of recording HD 1080p video.

Get real guys

They'll all get them at the same time, it's just that their respective content creation departments have put different dates on their sites (because they have to put something). None of them knows for sure...
