Factcheck

You know your HDMI specs quote 10.2Gb, but that's for full use showing 3D and what not, but anyway - if you were to try to run that over thunderbolt you'd run short would you not, but you'd have the download free though, but I'm just saying that if they demonstrated fully loaded HDMI simultaneously with some upload to the HD's then things would fall apart.
And that's just HDMI, displayport has an even higher bandwidth capability at about 18Gb max.
So when looking at such demonstrations keep such realities in mind.
It's cool stuff though and a normal standard display does not need half the 10.2Gb HSMI can do, so currently and in practice it's certainly usable as demonstrated, but when you try to tie in USB3 and more than one display or a 3D setup or something then you'd run into limitations.

Bidhere.com

Why is 'bidhere.com' advertised on this site when it is a scam? I hope The Inquirer is not associated with them....
