VIA SUBSIDIARY HTC has announced two Facebook focused phones, the Salsa and Chacha, that will be available this June.

These two HTC phones will help Facebook worm its way further into our lives and technology. If you just can't bear the arduous task of getting to Facebook via your phone's menu, then rejoice as both the Salsa and Chacha will have a dedicated Facebook button to get you straight there.

Not only will there be a dedicated button on the front of the phones, but there will also be several Facebook themed widgets such as a clock that has a Facebook stream. The aim is apparently to "Facebook your entire phone".

Both mobile phones share most specifications and will include Android 2.3 Gingerbread, a 600MHz processor, a front facing VGA camera, a rear facing 5MP camera, 512MB of phone memory and a microSD slot for data storage.

The big difference between the two phones is that the Chacha features a 2.6-inch touchscreen and a Qwerty keyboard. The Salsa, on the other hand, is more like previous HTC models with just a 3.4-inch touchscreen. µ
