SMARTPHONE MAKER Motorola had the Atrix and its assorted bits and pieces on show at Mobile World Congress (MWC).
Motorola surprised everyone at CES when it tipped up with the first tablet running Android 3.0 and the Atrix smartphone that brought with it a whole host of accessories to expand possible uses for the device. At MWC the firm showed off some of the Atrix accessories, which will be sold seperately, to show how the Atrix can connect to a television and a laptop dock.
According to many device manufacturers at MWC, the addition of docks to smartphones and tablets is set to be the natural progression for these devices. The ability to hook up smartphones to a large screen and play video or to a laptop dock to enter large swathes of text will become a big selling point as users look to consolidate their laptops, netbooks and digital music players.
For the first time in many years, it seems that Motorola has stolen a march on its rivals. µ
Boy, the Citrix demo brought the Atrix right to its knees. Guy keeps saying 'obviously' to explain what the Atrix would do if it wasn't VIRTUALLY LOCKED UP trying to get a session from the Citrix server. He 'obviously' blames his wireless connection and shows us the Achilles Heel of the Atrix.
i just jizzed in my pants.
Honestly this is a great looking device. I want to know the specs on the laptop docking station. it's thickness, materials, and other internals.
moto way to step it up.
