HARDWARE OUTFIT LG Electronics aims to add another dimension to its mobile phones with its Optimus 3D.

LG revealed its latest headline phone six weeks after the Optimus 2X at CES. Now it's hard to see which one will be the sales leader for the firm, with the company trying to stress that the Optimus 3D isn't just about the 3D display technology but rather the processing power behind the handset.

An LG representative demonstrated the 3D features of the handset, which sadly wasn't picked up by our high-end multi-million dollar handycam. Besides the 3D aspect to the Optimus 3D, there's no doubt that it is a fast, high end phone.

The Optimus 3D feels good in the hand and is well built and worth your investment. By the time it launches the device will run Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

The LG representative did not mention pricing, only saying that it is a high end device. So expect prices to be in the £400-£500 range without contract. µ

Competent presentation

Whoa! - a male pom marketing lackey who knows his stuff and can speak with credibility (and only credulously overpushes company lines occasionally).
Whoa!
