BIGGER in this case does mean better with Samsung's Galaxy Tab 10.1.
Not only does the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 have a 10.1-inch screen, but underneath the Super AMOLED display is a dual core 1GHz chip. The result appears to be a smooth experience.
Samsung gave The INQUIRER an extensive demonstration of the Galaxy Tab 10.1, showing off its multimedia capabilities. A few problems were encountered with wireless connectivity at Mobile World Congress, but otherwise the demo showed that the hardware is capable and Google's latest Android 3.0 Honeycomb works far better on tablets than Android 2.2.
The INQUIRER was told by Samsung that Vodafone will be carrying the Galaxy Tab 10.1 from March. µ
The guy giving the presentation here obviously doesn't have English as his primary language...
Yet, it was a well-structured, professional presentation by a man who clearly understands the features of the device he's promoting as well as their utility. Top job.
I wanted to make this point to differentiate from my earlier criticism of an inept presentation. I don't have it in for marketing lackeys if they can do a decent job.
