THE BRILLIANTLY NAMED INQ Cloud Touch smartphone has just received Bluetooth certification and should be in the shops soon.
The handset is widely believed to be the first of two 'Facebook' smartphones rumoured to be in development.
The rumour mill has been a spinning like crazy over the phone after Bloomberg reported last September that Facebook and London-based INQ (no relation) were building a Qwerty keyboard equipped and full-touchscreen smartphone.
According to the Bluetooth certification description, the INQ Cloud Touch will be an Android smartphone "built to make messaging faster and smarter".
Apparently it has been "designed around the way people naturally communicate". We call that talking but Facebook and INQ have other ideas.
The home screen features multiple entry points to different Facebook functions, while a dynamic widget displays a feed of status updates, albums, videos and photos.
It would appear to have a keyboard, or a touchscreen with Swype input. It is expected to be out early this year and an AT&T deal is rumoured to be in the works. µ
Lol spoken like a proper fogey. I'm with you on this one :)
