ONLINE RETAILER Amazon is launching a one stop shop to ensnare gamers looking to buy motion gesture kit.

Not one to miss a promotional opportunity, Amazon is jumping on the motion gesture bandwagon by offering an online Motion Gaming 101 section. The ecommerce giant is providing the section in its online games store to give gamers the skinny on what this motion gesture gaming is all about.

Motion Gaming 101 will provide information on what kind of motion gaming kit drooling fanbois can purchase. But it's also slated as an educational service with online videos for the kids, games recommendations and those all important customer reviews.

Content includes interviews with developers, producers and players all discussing their parts in bringing motion gesture gaming to the masses. The section will cover Sony's Playstation 3, Microsoft's upcoming Kinect and Nintendo's now aging Wii. The portal will also have video tutorials that cover controller differences and features on every piece of motion gesture gear.

"Our goal with Motion Gaming 101 is to eliminate some of the guesswork when it comes to choosing a console for motion gaming, and if you already own a console, to choose the right accessories and games available for your system," said Paul Ryder, VP of consumer electronics and video games at Amazon.com.

"Customers can learn from our expert content and from other customers in our discussion forums before making a purchase decision. We will continue to expand and evolve the site as new games and game-related content are released." µ
