BEATING HUMANOID ROBOTS to pieces with the virtual version of the Mattel game Rock 'em Sock 'em has been demonstrated with two players using augmented reality on two Android Eclair 2.1 powered phones. Developed in collaboration with Mattel, the game is played by two Qualcomm employees in the video above. Qualcomm showed off the game at its Innovation day held today in central London. The phones recognise a Rock 'em Sock 'em printed logo and the robots' arena is fixed in space on top of that logo however the handsets are moved around. µ

Pathetic

It looks so pathetic. Is that really all what augmented reality is capable of?
