The Geforce chip is made of copper instead of aluminium, which means it can run faster - Spencer Kelly, BBC Click Online
IT'S MORE POWER to AMD's Fusion range as the company has announced today at IFA 2010 the Zacate 18W Accelerated Processor Unit (APU).
Zacate is rated at twice the power draw of AMD's previously announced APU Ontario, which consumes 9W.
The higher power consumption is due to the higher frequency Zacate will run at, but AMD declined to reveal that. What AMD did tell The INQUIRER in a one-on-one briefing at IFA 2010 is that Zacate will be in Vision branded nettop and low-power desktop systems in the latter half of 2011, with chips shipping to manufacturers in the first half of the year. Zacate will also tip up eventually in 11-inch notebooks and above.
Like Ontario, Zacate is a 40nm product. It has two Bobcat cores but will come on the Brazos chipset platform. The third Fusion chip, codenamed Llano, is expected in the first half of 2011, has four Bulldozer cores and is targeted at high end notebooks. AMD also confirmed that Orochi is a Vision product that will be aimed at the server market. It will have a Bulldozer core.
As Ontario has now been announced as a 9W processor this power consumption means its use will be limted to notebooks smaller than 11-inches. AMD also says Ontario will be available for "unique small for factors," which the company is somewhat coy about but could mean tablets. µ

Or the info about Zacate being 32nm is wrong, and it is build in 40nm like Ontario and is basically a higher clocked/full featured version of Ontario. Then the higher TDP would make sense.
Codenames would make less sense then, but they have been inconsistent before (e.g. Brazos, the plattform name for Ontario, is also a river in Texas).
Still, there will probably be a smaller Llano variant with just two CPU cores and maybe a TDP around 20 or 30W, but obviously with a different, yet undisclosed codename. Or none at all if they are just partly deactivated and lower clocked Llano dies.
Ontario is Bobcat-based and will be a 2-core SoC for really small devices, made in 40nm bulk at TSMC in Hsinchu, Taiwan.
Llano is a K10.5-based APU that still needs a Southbridge attached to it. So far, Llano was talked of as a Quadcore with GPU (think Propus and Redwood glued together). Made in 32nm HKMG SOI at Globalfoundries in Dresden, Germany.
Zacate could be a smaller variant of Llano, with 2 instead of 4 CPU cores and a smaller GPU (like Regor and Cedar glued together). 18W TDP seems achievable for such a product.
Apart from the 32nm process, which hints definitely towards Llano, you can also go by the Codenames: While Ontario is a big lake or Canadian province, the Llano is a River in Texas, and the Zacate is a small creek in Texas. So it seems a natural codename choice for a smaller Llano variant.
Hey dude, sorry to point this out however Llano is supposed to be based around an Athlon II X4 core with integrated graphics. It does not use any new x86 architecure.
They're using the Nvidian definition.

Llano _is_ the fusion version of the Phenom core and Orachi _will_ have 4 Bulldozer modules.
Zacate sounds like the Ontario with twice the power consumption. Ontario will have Bobcat cores
Is Zacate not a branding of the Ontario SoC? And isn't Llano a fusion version of the Phenom? And doesn't the Orachi have 4 Bulldozer units (8 cores)?
