Thu Sep 02 2010, 07:05

STREAMING FROM THE CLOUD turned out to be a little more difficult than anticipated when The INQUIRER was given a demo of Sony's Qriocity video on demand (VOD) service at IFA 2010. Qriocity is the company's network for delivering music and video, it also powers the upcoming Music Unlimited that was announced today. At the trade show Sony announced that this Autumn the Quriocity VOD service, which the US has had since March, will come to five European countries - the UK, Germany, France, Spain and Italy. Sony Bravia televisons and Bluray players, which are probably 2010 models only, that can run a PS3 like user interface will be able to deliver the content. µ
