THE APPLE CARGO CULT has released a survey to all its followers to ask if they want to watch TV titles instantly on demand.
Of course it does not say that directly. The "survey" requires Apple fanbois to tick the boxes about what they love about Jobs Mob's Itunes digital juke box for the Ifad, er, Ipad.
As you might guess, a box to tick that they would like to have access to Flash was not on the list. In fact the questions indicated that Apple seemed only be interested in a "tell us how wonderful we are" survey that Steve Jobs can show at a press conference in a bid to get a standing ovation from US hacks.
On the list was the suggestion that users might want to say how much they like the fact that "Titles are available to watch instantly" on the Ipad.
The only problem is that you can't watch Itunes videos "instantly" because the Ipad requires that you wait for the entire video file to download before playback begins. Even the current Apple TV requires so much buffering that flicking through the dull bits of a program could take hours if not days. Watching videos instantly is certainly something that happens to other people using other products.
If anyone ticks that box they are even more brain dead than your usual Apple fanbois. According to Engadget it seems that the question is is covert marketing ploy and Jobs is planning instant video streaming on the Ipad. µ
