SEARCH ENGINE OUTFIT Google has launched its real-time search website featuring up-to-the-minute news, comments and postings on Twitter and Facebook.
You can even narrow the search to find out what people are saying on various subjects in different locations or languages.
A spokesGoogle Dylan Casey said that the outfit looked at some numbers that told it some users wanted to limit their web trawls to up-to-the-minute results.
Casey said that the new website features 'great tools' to help users refine and understand their search results.
With the real-time search 'full conversation' feature, you can browse an entire conversation in a single glance, apparently.
"We organise the tweets from oldest to newest and indent so you quickly see how the conversation developed," Casey said.
Tweaks have been made to Google Alerts so that emails can be sent to users the moment their topics appear on Twitter or anything similar.
The move follows that of Microsoft, which has announced partnerships with Twitter and Facebook to provide real-time search results. µ
It's bad enough that Google would sometimes show Twit feeds from around the internet on whatever I was searching for, but now to expand this dysfunctional idea even more?
I want this upgrade upgraded, also I wish to have a USB 3.0 connection or eSATA connection directly into my brain's CPU (isn't the brain THE CPU?).
This way I know everything immediatly all the time. So don't sneeze on facebook or I'll likely reply "bless you."
But I suppose this makes me susceptible to hacking so maybe not?
