IT SEEMS THAT a day can't pass without a leak of Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Tab that will run the Android 2.2 Froyo operating system.
This time it appears that a video preview has shown up in South Korea showing the device in action.
The specifications sheet listed shows Android 2.2, WCDMA 3G, 802.11n WiFi, a touchscreen with a 16:10 aspect ratio, a front-facing camera "dedicated to video calling," SDHC memory expandability, and a DMB tuner.
The user interface looks very smooth and if this leak is genuine it should be giving Steve Jobs some sleepless nights.
It will not of course, because people do not buy Apple gear because it is quality or what it can do, they buy it because it is Apple and Steve tells them to buy it.
However all these leaks are getting a little suspicious. Yesterday there was a bloke on a train who just happened to whip one out in front of an Aussie tech hack.
Still if you do not have a tame press like Apple does, you have to do a bit of viral marketing on your own. It seems to be working, though. When we visited the website this afternoon it was struggling under the pressure. µ
This applet from AlwaysInnovating was released a full year before the ipad.

Apple is an after-innovating company, they produce mediocre locked-down products, high only on hype and hysteria.
That one's simple. Everyone's trying to copy it because Steve Jobs and Apple tell them to.
According to the Reg and the Inq and all the apple haters, The iPad is a toy and a fad?? so why is everyone trying to copy it??
Oh no, Google will castrate the internet so you'll have to wait an extra two seconds before you can post a snide comment on the Inq! How can we let Google mess with such an inportant liberty?
I was looking for a way to get more money to Google that they can then use to lobby the FCC and Congress to castrate the Internet while making it more expensive for me.
