Google TV might be doomed from the start
NET NEUTRALITY SELLOUT Google's cunning plan to get TV networks' support for its Google TV software might hit a few problems.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the TV channels want to have their cake and eat it too, and might not want to partner with services they believe encroach upon their domain.
The service will allow people to watch and search cable, satellite and web programming through TVs and set-top boxes that use Google's software. Sony and Logitech apparently are lined up to make gear to run the software soon.
However Google's meetings with the likes of ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC have not been going that well. The US networks are worried that Google TV will not provide them with enough cash for potentially cannibalizing TV station owners' existing broadcast businesses.
Some media companies are even trying to work out if they should block their web video from playing on certain devices, which is said to be technically possible.
Google not only wants the media outfits to hand over their content, but for its scheme to work well it also needs them to adapt their web video to handle bigger screens. This will mean some of them will have to redesign their websites and admit that the high quality content will be available online. µ

So Google now wants to be the biggest cable company in the world and that service will be distributed how? With your the internet service bundled with your Cable Service.
Isn't there something oddly redundant about this whole concept if not disingenuously ironic?

DDR3, Sata3,Pci-e3, Hybrid in 3 slots, Eyefinity with 3 monitors, 3 core modules, triple channel memory, gigabyte likes concept to point of 333 as mainboard model monacur, Remember ALL threes listed are in Developement & being finalized, so New 3 World for many aspects of computer, software ,too. wordpress 3, CSS 3 are examples. of course there are many other improvements coming up too, like SSD & digital periperals of larger pixel count, arn't described with 3 in standard. Just that so many advancements happen to have number 3 or 3.0 in them today.
Now on BAD. 3D TV has never worked for very long & very old, each generation brings on round of 3D TV, then Forgotten. while in mobile phone 3 standard works, sad part is 4 level phones seems to have floundered.
there are plenty of other numbrers in computing voiced as latest improvement, yet 3 is often in Standard level in TOP catagories of parts, today. Easier to remember memory,slots,&processor details when such easy number as 3 seems to lead way in many areas of machine description. What Luck. 3 Cents,Please.

Don't understand Bad 3s.
Fully understand the networks, monetizing the shit outta the dumb clucks that watch their mind numbing pap that they laughingly call entertainment, isn't enough that you have 18 minutes of commercials in every hour but you have to pay for the privilege of watching it too.
Google TV, take day off to watch various forms of Barney. YES.
However, heres question, what to watch googleTV on. BAD threes are 3D tV & xPhones3. BAD.
So NOT ALL of Todays Three Crowd are good.3D TV Is Back Alley Laugh, While too bad xPhones4 hasn't Panned out. Give ME Straight TV on Google. Something NOT from Forgein Govenment be Good, Opps, Talkin' google, talkin' pointee' Hat Club. guess other Govs' Have to Move Over. All 3 of them. ABC, NBC or CBS. Given power of Machine, Inventing Character Harder than creating Show. Go Go Googlebs, Opps, guess have to lower standards or make that Go Go Googlebc TV or Radio.
After ALL, Major Studio Is About As BIG AS Bowling Alley.
