Talk Talk debases itself with Jedward promotion

Exclusive From broadband to bad band in one
Tue Aug 17 2010, 15:00

JEDWARD FANS besieged the Talk Talk shop in Broadwick street, London next door to The INQUIRER's hallowed publisher's towers in deepest darkest central London.

The sticky up hair duo were there to promote Talk Talk's sponsorship of this year's The X Factor television series and the broadband provider's Bright Star Studio website. The website allows those with nothing to do to record themselves singing Karaoke style to some inane pop melody.

During the Talk Talk shop event invited customers, those stupid enough to go and queue for hours with their kidz outside, got the chance to jump around with the Jedward twins. Jumping about in front of a laptop with a camera, the kidz could record a video with Jedward using the Bright Star Studio website.

If humiliation for the rest of your life was what you wanted then those queuing could look forward to seeing themselves on television. As the Talk Talk propaganda explained, the "best, or in some cases the worst, videos will be selected to play in TalkTalk indents during The X Factor commercial breaks!"

With backing vocals from Jedward, those who attended today's events were able to sing along to to Bros "When Will I Be Famous", Scouting for Girls' "She's So Lovely" or even The Zutons' "Valerie". µ

I took my children to see and meet Jedward and whatever your opinion they were lovely boys they made time for there fans however few there mat have been. Perhaps when you have achieved what they have at their age you get out of writing stupid pointless articles for something you clearly know nothing about

Who's debasing what here?

Your headline screams "Talk Talk debases itself" and yet you publish two separate articles (one including a video) and claim an "exclusive" on it.

Shame you gave up your day job...

Authorities in several countries raided Megaupload recently, shut down all of its services, seized hundreds of servers and arrested several of its executives on criminal charges.

Do you think the move was justified?
