UK MOBILE PHONE NETWORK Three has announced its contract free Ipad prices, saying that it will let users cancel at any time.

Three will start offering its Ipad data plans on 28th May, which might or might not be the day that Apple starts shipping them. "Three is pleased to offer competitive data plans for Ipad with WiFi plus 3G in the UK," said Marc Allera, sales and marketing director at Three. "Our network, the largest in the country, has been optimized for the mobile Internet, ensuring our customers enjoy the very best mobile performance on Ipad."

Data plans for the Ipad will start at 1GB per month for £7.50, and scale up to a 10GB version at £15. Elsewhere, O2's prices start with a £2 a day pay as you go service, and run up to 1Gb with unlimited WiFi for £10 a month service and a 3GB plus unlimited WiFi £15 a month option. Orange wants £7.50 a week for a 1GB connection, or £15 a month for 3GB and £25 for 10GB, and Vodafone will charge £10 per month for a 250MB option and £25 for 5GB a month

A little misleading

"Three has announced its contract free Ipad prices, saying that it will let users cancel at any time."

should be...

"Three has announced its contract free Ipad data plan prices, saying that it will let users cancel at any time."

ie. no iPad included.
