Censorship protestors 'turn terrorists' down under
PRIVACY ADVOCATES who have been carrying out online attacks protesting against the Australian government's bizarre Internet censorship plan are apparently turning to terrorism.
According the the Sydney Morning Herald, members of the community responsible for recent attacks on government websites are now discussing a violent uprising and trading bomb recipes. They are also calling for Aussie Communications Minister Stephen Conroy to be bumped off.
Posts on the 4chan messageboard, which is the community behind government website DOS attacks in February are starting to get a bit more militant.
"Our government is corrupt, they are taking advantage of they're [sic] power and won't even allow the public to view the blacklist under the idea that 'the list would highlight where to find illegal material'... this is no longer just about the censor, this is about our government trying to force us and cage us into submission like in many other corrupt countries," one post read.
"It would be near impossible for us to take down the entire government, but we must in some way make it clear that they do not control our f---ing lives to this degree. We must do something."
The group was behind "Operation Titstorm" but several members said that taking down websites was not enough.
"I propose assassination or at least scare the f--- out of them," one poster wrote.
"I'm going to stick Conroy in the throat. Who's with me?" wrote another.
This is all likely to be online rant stuff and the Aussie press seem to be taking it in their usual calm restrained way.
One bloke described how to make a bomb out of acetone, hydrogen peroxide and hydrochloric acid. The instructions required a responsible adult to help with the scissors.
Of course it all falls into the hands of autocratic nutcases like Conway who would love to feel that they are somehow defending themselves from real terrorists, rather than a bunch of ticked-off kids with Internet connections. µ

At least the other people in some oppressed situation and country resort to such actions as a final showdown.... someone once said, if you can't live with your dignity and respect intact, you might as well die with pride....(or some sh*t like that)...
Basically these lot are smoking some other sh*t. For mere porn and the other pleasure sh*t, you can't compare that to freedom fighters. It doesn't balance well. This is the power of our so called free world and democracy.
Understand this, freedom is only relegated and limited to the fact that people in the West can make love to their mothers, aunt, daughters and niece. If they happen to be gay at the same time then include all the male equivalents.... Oh and this can be preformed in public in some Scandinavian countries!

They discriminatorily enforced tax laws and other government regulations and used conspicuous surveillance, "investigative" interviews, and grand jury subpoenas in an effort to intimidate activists and silence their supporters.[18]
4. Extralegal Force and Violence: The FBI conspired with local police departments to threaten dissidents; to conduct illegal break-ins in order to search dissident homes; and to commit vandalism, assaults, beatings and assassinations.[18][19][20] The object was to frighten, or eliminate, dissidents and disrupt their movements.

Incidentally, I guess they are so pissed on 4chan because it's one of the banned sites? Those aussie insane christians in the government most likely went after it 1st thing, before they even came up with the idea of excuses for their censorship.
Frankly my view is: if only any westerner was left that was willing to fight, but come on, nobody even tried to as much as punch g.w. bush when he was around being in people's face, there's just too much internet and too much estrogen in the water to see anything but comments.
The same people that make these comments are probably afterwards back at work doing research how to implant GPS-RFID's in people's skulls without needing to have them come in for it to be done.
Gov't repression creates the need for gov't repression, however it must.
Australia is a test-bed for the rest of the formerly free world. For those who think geeks will always find a way around it: nope, not with the root servers in gov't hands. Be easy to implement a block list for # addresses too. And there are people PAID to do so.
