Kingston clocks fastest memory

2.4GHz without overclocking
Tue Mar 16 2010, 16:55

MEMORY MAKER Kingston has laid claim to the fastest memory around, or at least the fastest to be certified by Intel for its Core i7 chips.

The snappily named KHX2400C9D3T1K2/4GX is an unbuffered dual-channel DDR3 memory kit which is clocked at 2,400MHz and runs on timings of 9-11-9-27-2 at 1.65V.

According to Kingston, the new chips were tested on several P55-based systems, but the Intel certification table lists it as compatible with the Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD4P motherboard.

Kingston's latest contender just pips Corsair's rival CMGTX1 to top spot, which has identical timings and voltage, but clocks at 2333MHz, although it is possible to run the Corsair chips at 2,400MHz as well, just don't expect Intel to qualify that.

The new kits will be available in the second half of this year. Pricing is not yet available, but being aimed at enthusiasts, gamers and benchmarkers, we don't expect them to be cheap. µ

OCZ Blade...

I'm running 6GB of OCZ Blade DDR3 memory at 7-8-7-20 @ 1T Command Rate in my EVGA X58 Classified MOBO. I can easily loosen the latencies and change to 2T Command Rate and run at 2400Mhz...oh and I've had my OCZ Blade memory for about one year...

Nothing to see here...move along

Hi Cookie & 2.8 Ghz/s

?Why Hi Cookie So Much. Same Reason as Mr. Mikes Compliments Blizzard. Both Mike & Hi have Grasp of Breaking Out Future of Computing & reporting FACTS. hi Cookie Does Special report About Quarterly. heres Christmas 2009 Hi Cookie On Memory:

So can see memory can step up further easily from Todays Kingston, just getting certification & usefulness ready for Public.

Sometimes Ultee' writes & numbers/letters end up wrong after editing at theINQ. I know Model 5870 & 5990 Is TOPER, ReRead each post & then, Blam, numbers/letters Post screwee' eg 6870 or 8990, No way went from here like that wrong, on: worlds fastest 6 core.
no need to redo,
theCRIPPLER might be thy name.... well thats small part of place that was once bigger. Besides demotivating theREADER.

Authorities in several countries raided Megaupload recently, shut down all of its services, seized hundreds of servers and arrested several of its executives on criminal charges.

Do you think the move was justified?
