A CUB SCOUT in the US is regularly searched whenever he flies because he shares the same name as someone on a Homeland Security Department terror list.

According to a Facebook group set up to support the boy, Mikey Hicks (8) has been searched since he was two years old because of the list mixup. Now, following years of intrusion, not to mention delays to their holidays, his family is asking people to join up to get his name removed from the list. At least until he forgets to do his homework or refuses to take the bins out.

The Facebook site reads, "My eight-year-old son has been on the TSA 'Watch List' since he was a baby. Supposedly he has the same name as a suspected terrorist. Will you join this fan page and help us get him off the 'Watch List'?"

The group is in its early days and so far has only 33 supporters. He looks innocent enough, but a little dig through his personal information reveals that he is highly educated, and trained in combat. "Tae Kwon Do student - Rank: Junior Black Belt. Cub Scout - Bear Rank. School: A and B Student," it reveals.

Certainly qualifications we think could apply to any dangerous internationsl terrorist. Except the bear bit. µ
