they are easily whipped up into a dogmatic frenzy 'cos they dont think for themselves and dismiss any personal responsibility

I believe in God, but I despise vast majority of "Religion" cus most is made up by jumped up loons to further their own interests.

However, when I saw Dawkins ... he seems a bigger nutter than all imams and assorted religious nutters, as he is adamant that that he is right and everyone who believes in anything is wrong.. - quasy-religion in its self!

I think some of these religious people are missing a point here...IF god does not exist, then they are just lunatics, but IF god does exist, he wouldn't need these lunatics to DDOS a server, he smite them.

The moral of the story?

Since god did not smite them & or does not exist they are either breaking the law, or breaking the law and going against the will of god.

Assuming they believe they are carrying out the will of god, why would god require them to do anything? god is god & does not need stupid people to help.

In conclusion, they are stupid lunatics that break the law and possibly (should god exist) defy the will of god.

It is usually the case that those who don't have confidence in their own beliefs don't like being subjected with opposing arguments.

A human has 5 fundamental senses which confer him the consciousness to derive meaning from those which surround him as he relates to them through his 3 ["lower"] minds of emotion, material and intellect. These 3 mental realms have to relate to one another or else a person will be a mere vegetable.

Taking one of the senses, vision, which confer the consciousness of colour, say, those who were born blind have no consciousness of colour. There is no way to convey such an aspect until they gain vision. Similarly, there is no way that a dog could be made to be conscious of the value of, say, fragrance, though it ccn be trained to identify a particular fragrance.

As such, the higher consciousness of, say, divinity, is not approachable through mere thoughts of the 3 lower orders. It is not possible no matter how a [partial, in reality] human tries. That which is beyond the 5 senses is beyond and arguments/viewpoints are made only by those who have yet to realised what "beyond" really means. Those who are still, " .. but, but, but-ing….", and so forth are merely revealing their complete lack of reality to those who have approached Reality and it does not matter who is which or what - unless one is compelled to relate in order to gain the fame, fortune or immortality which lacks value during one's physical passing. Witness therefore, the politicos, privileged, talented, special, pious, "journos", and much more, oka those who have yet to realised that the first is merely the last and not the means for generating the last.

To those with the consciousness of colour, there is no need to argue with those who lack the awareness - unless one is a preacher - a saviour, no less and these "champions of the future" has only one duty and that is to collect worshippers. One is a screw and the other a nut or else either will have no meaning.

Should divinity exists, what need is there for money, diamonds, secret knowledge, preachers, worshippers, and the myriad of nonsense that the living-dead engage-in every breathing moment whilst not forgetting that the quality of divinity is omnipresent, omnisience, and omnipotent. Now, should divinity be a pipe-dream, let the partying continue. It is benevolent to realised that Guilt/not-forging-oneself-cum-Anger/not-forgiving-others are Past-cum-Futuristic acirtivites and has nothing to do with Divinity. I think people have forgotten that Atheism threatens not just Christianity, but every religion, so how come the Christians are getting targeted for the attacks? I can think of far more extremist actions from Muslims than I can from any other religion.. Atheism threatens them just as much.. Perhaps Christians are safer to blame cos they don't go around suicide bombing and killing innocent people?

An omnipotent deity would have no need for Christians, arbitrarily 'extreme' or otherwise, to do its bidding. If it did not wish for the web sites to function, a DDOS attack is without doubt the most ridiculous way to go about it. Just imagine an omnipotent being reconciling this action with itself.

Atheism is about being rational and arriving at decisions about objective reality through an ability to experience it using your senses, along with inductive and deductive logic. When you start making things up and can in no substantive way provide evidence to back your claims about reality (dusty old tomes don't count), then people are going to look at you funny, especially when your claims include the ability to communicate with supernatural beings.

The simple mechanic of safety in numbers saw to them becoming institutions, the last fairy story humanity hasn't been able to grow out of. Yet.

If on the other hand you are referring to atheists you couldn't be further from the truth. Atheism is the belief in the actual, the real, I.E the tangible and verifiable. Faith just isn't good enough, it's too easy.

The two are not even remotely similar.

Religion is a faith club, it seeks to maintain a core set of beliefs and dismisses troublesome physical reality when it impinges. Insular, protective and guarded. Has huge appeal to those needing a sense of security, a rock to cling to.

Most religions ARE responsible in spreading hatred by spurring on global debates without including God's true thoughts in complete study and reasoning with the scriptures.

For example, members of mainstream religions are focusing their source for defence, on an earthly entity, like a guru or a pope or a ayatollah even a philosopher which leads many looking for a divine source, disappointed and discouraged. Looking for an answer from an imperfect source or to get your following masses to trust one individual that can make a mistake, it scatters and disunite the flock and may even cause them to hurt each other.

Now there are individuals concluding that using evil justifies just by declaring its for justifiable means. No! This is a bad assumption according to the above scriptures. The Bible itself is God's word, the real faith is the source that moves you to the real divine source, the Bible.

So all blood for example spilled in the name of God after Jesus Sacrifice is rejected by God, just by this single verse here.
