Video Microsoft gets an app store
Tuesday, 6 October 2009, 17:47

COINCIDING WITH the launch of Windows Mobile 6.5, Microsoft has also launched its app store, dubbed Marketplace and a cloud synchronisation service called MyPhone.

The announcement means that pretty much every smartphone platform has an associated app store, but with just a handful of applications available today Microsoft's Marketplace has a lot of catching up to do. µ

Intergration?

One has to wonder if they will cross interface this with the Zune Marketplace and have the same type of apps on it?

Nooooooooo !!

I, and many of myFriends, have been using 'myPhone' as a joke name for the iPhone since it arrived on the market all those years ago. Similarly myFace, myTube, myPlayer, etc (you get the idea).

Even the Simpsons used 'myPhone', 'myPhonies' & 'myBill' in a glorious piss-take of (m)Apple, and NOW stupidwindows is actually using it as a proper name. How dare they spoil myFun! Couldn't they come up with something original ???

...what am i saying!! Microsoft!! come up with something original!! - clearly i need medication of some sort,... where's myPills
