Although prepared for martyrdom, I preferred that it be postponed - Winston Churchill
MAINLAND CHINA has asked clinics to stop using electric shock treatments on teenagers diagnosed as suffering from Internet addiction.
A clinic in the eastern province of Shandong reportedly has been imposing shock treatments on young patients, using currents of up to five milliamperes as "therapy to clear the mind."
A doctor at the clinic, Yang Yongxin, claimed the treatments would not cause brain damage. Apparently no one asked the yoofs involved how they felt about it.
China's Ministry of Health issued a statement saying that shock treatment should not be used because its safety and effectiveness in treating Internet addiction were uncertain. µ

lol thanks for the laugh...
Will this treatment work for Bar/Club addiction too? Lol - And I thought that I heard it all!
Frying tonight!
I guess they could use their lube for the electrical contacts instead of what they were using it for. LOL
The question is not so much where we are as when we are.
I am bent tits-up over backwards, as a
dead fish gone with the flow, and prostrate, kow-towed to passive adaptedness.
If the gorillas insist on walking upright, who am I to take to the trees?
Turn the voltage up some more and you'll get the proper results. 200 KV is pretty effective.
See how long they can keep typing for.
Is The Inq dying? Where are all the funny stories?
