JUST A MONTH after AMD shoved its six-core Opteron 2400 series out of its nest, HP has adopted the processors to bung into its new xw9400 model professional workstations.
HP is the first OEM to put two of AMD's new processors, dubbed Istanbul, into enterprise orientated workstations for a whopping 12 cores of cor blimey performance.

AMD has already spent much PR time boasting that its new processors will Turkish delight customers with interconnect rates of 4.8GT/s and by packing 34 per cent more performance per Watt than its earlier quad-core chips. So HP's xw9400 line are being touted as the workstations that work harder, if you will.
HP is showing off its new offering sporting an ATI FirePro V7750 GPU for a starting price of $1,900.
Wonder if punters will opt(eron) in. µ

i think von drashek is more coherent and has more hardware knowledge than sylvie.
take my advice because things look bad for the inquirer with sylvie in charge.
I've seen him with the red ball in his mouth - wearing a 'Sylvie r0x0r' t-shirt (and nothing else)
