NOKIA'S STAFF DISCOUNT scheme offers its employees a bigger percentage off an Iphone than off its own products, the INQ has learned.
The Finnish phone maker recently offered staff a whopping 17 per cent off Apple products, but only 10 per cent off its own N97, which launched the same week as the Iphone 3GS.
Surely this scheme could be intepreted as Nokia's lack of confidence in its own latest touch-screen wonder and a heavy endorsement of Apple's?
“Nokia doesn't comment on internal staff matters”, replies a Nokia flak. Ah, that explains it, then.
Perhaps there is an app for the N97 which locates the nearest Apple store. µ
