WHEN it comes to regrets, Steve Ballmer is singing Edith Piaf rather than My Way.
According to Business Week the Supreme Vole said that if he could have his life again he would have started much sooner on search engines.
Ballmer said he and his predecessor at Microsoft, Bill Gates, used to keep a list of the 10 biggest mistakes they had made. Apparently they would look at it and laugh at each other. We guess Ballmer would say Microsoft Bob and Gates would reply Windows ME.
We are not sure where Vista appears in the list, but top of Ballmer's was not coming up with a popular search engine before Google. Part of the problem was that he and Bill didn't see the technology change that was coming.
Vole had lots of minions working on producing a search engine. However it could not come up with a business model that would satisfy managers. So it was slow to move and slower to invest in it. µ

A better one of the words "Non.. rien de rien.. non.. je ne regrette rien"
is:
"No.. nothing at all..no.. I don't regret anything".
Surely the "whispering" Ballmer has lots of stuff to regret.

and to add insult to injury, yes, Balmer is singing My Way - Regrets there've been a few (at least 10, seemingly), but then again, too few to mention (Balmer hasn't said what the top-10 list is and MS are still laughing all the way to the bank with a commanding market share)
According to some true stories I have read you invented the computer and the PC, is that not enough for one man.
And certainly I have forgotten something of great importance.
